TN-315: Complete Hack & Defend Hands-On Hacker Training for Security Professionals.
Security Professionals trying to navigate through the array of much hyped security certifications and find a more in-depth and hands-on course, THIS IS IT! To defeat a hacker, you must understand how he operates. And to ensure your network is secure, you must test it. In this course you will learn the step by step process that hackers use to assess your enterprise network, probe it & hack into it in a mixed-platform environment including Windows, Solaris, Linux and Cisco. You will use commercial software & hacker utilities, provided in TechNow's "toolkit", to break into various OS and database servers, routers and switches, and wireless network access at varying levels of security strength. Application layer attacks are thoroughly covered along with various tools and tool suites such as Metasploit and BackTrack. By understanding this process and knowing how your Windows based clients and servers are exploited, you will be able to test your own network and properly secure it. The concepts, techniques, and tools you master in this class are the keys to securing your enterprise network infrastructure using the most professional and respected methodology in the industry today, the OSSTMM.
