IT-113: IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) - Foundations Course
The ITIL Foundation training course provides a detailed, modular introduction to the concepts, terms, definitions, benefits, objectives, and relationships within core IT service management processes and functions, according to the ITIL best practice framework. This course is based on principles described in ITIL’s Service Support and Service Delivery books. The course prepares participants for the examination leading to the Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.

IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) courses are appropriate for any IT operations, Technical, or IT Management requiring more information about ITIL best practices. Anyone responsible for managing, implementing or consulting on ITIL processes within IT or in conjunction with IT.
Upon completion of the course, you will be able to: Describe the concepts underlying IT Service Management Explain the best practices documented in ITIL Describe the roles, processes and components that are part of certain key ITSM areas Have an awareness of the implications of implementing one or more of the best practices Increase your capacity to pass the ITIL Foundation Certification exam
Students should have some experience with the specification, development, installation and/or management of information technology.
